Psychotherapy and the Halo/Sharp Tarot
coming soon

The Covenant of god, the promise of god, is expressed quite clearly in Jeremiah 31 (it’s worth reading the whole passage here) where the bible speaks about bringing people back from captivity (31:23), rewarding them for their hard work and suffering (31:16), forgiving their sins (31:24) and not forgetting them. The promise is for a path back to Shambhala (31:8-9) or Eden on earth (31:38).
Historically, this promise has been enshrined most often in a fashion similar to the image at the right, with angels and stylized sun as ubiquitous motifs. This is the arc of the covenant, a powerful visual representation of god’s promise to all those who have incarnated on this earth and sacrificed in order to accomplish the divine plan. When the job is completed, a path will be provided out of darkness and back into The Garden where you have god’s promise that “The city (e.g., the Garden) will never again be uprooted or demolished. (Jeremiah 21: 38).
The covenant is visually represented in the Halo/Sharp tarot in the key card The Promise. Notice the facing angels, the sun motif, and the Eden like backdrop. This is The Promise fulfilled. This is the realization of the divine plan (see The Universe key) and the return, via the provided path, to The Garden. Rejoice for the time is at hand.

Consciousness is the root of all things (Book of Light)
This is a glossary of symbols used in the Halo/Sharp tarot deck. Familiarizing yourself with the meaning of key symbols used in the tarot deck will help ensure proper interpretation and absorption of tarot archetypes. Always make “right interpretation” your goal. Despite what a lot of people have said over the years, it really does matter what you put into your head. Some ideas and concepts, and many images, just shouldn’t be there. If you want to transform the world, if you want to transform yourself, you start with your physical mind and the contents of that. For this reason, right interpretation is critical.
Chains. Chains mean chains. In the tarot deck, the chains that appear in the Saturn (old Devil) card represent the chains on consciousness which bind our physical unit and keep us from our Joyful Power and glory. See also Hierophant and Uranus.
Circles and Spheres. Energy points or energy sources.
Color. Color is used to indicate different vibration. For example, in Joyful it is used to represent the different vibrations of the seven chakras. In the World card it is used to represent the “twelve tribes,” a.k.a. the signs of the zodiac, a.k.a. the different “vibrations” that consciousness can hold as it manifests in the physical world.
Disks, clay disks, and dirt. Disks and dirt represent the 3D/physical universe. You know the one I’m talking about. It’s the one that scientists say is the only one that exists. It’s the one you can become aware of “only” when you open your physical eyes.
The Devil. The Devil is used to represent The System. In the Halo/Sharp deck, the devil is vanquished as the chains which bind consciousness are finally and forever removed.
Egg (Cosmic Egg). The file pointer to your “akashic file.” Expressed with elegant metaphor in consciousness, and mirrored (as above in consciousness, so below in matter) magnificently in reality. For a definition of the cosmic egg, see the LP intermediate book, the Book of Light volume two.
Helix. The double helix DNA is the physical manifestation of the “akashic file pointer.” (see book of light volume II). See Dossier of the Ascension for information on the significance of DNA to activation and awakening.
Infinity Symbol. The infinity symbol is the sideways 8 you often see in esoteric writings. It refers to consciousness, or rather one aspect of consciousness which is that consciousness is infinite, alpha and omega, beginning without end. When it appears in the Halo/Sharp tarot it is as a reminder of the infinity of your existence and the fact that you’ve been “around the block” more than once.
Light. Light refers to consciousness (as defined in The Book of Light) so wherever you see light (i.e., light bulb, start, glowing star, Star of David, star in a lantern, etc.) think consciousness.
Lightning Bolt. Divine inspiration. The realization of the Promise. The loving and gentle embrace of god, Spirit and truth that clears away the dust and detritus of The System and reveals to your pristine power and glory. See the Tower card in the old system, and the power card in the Halo/Sharp system.
Serpent. Physical creation. The universe. The cosmos. The multiverse. Especially when shown as ouroboros (i.e., snake eating it’s tail). See the Book of Light volume two for the cosmological foundation of the symbolism.
The Sun. Understanding the significance of the sun in tarot symbolism is key. See the Book of Light volume two for the cosmological foundation and philosophical explication of the full import of the symbol. :-)

Water. Consciousness. Sometimes physical creation. Sometimes energy. Sometimes all three. It depends on the context.
Wheel. The Wheel represents work. It the Halo/Sharp deck it represents the divine work of creation which we all undertake, in the corrupted old world decks it indicates karmic work and/or or slavery to the wheel (i.e., the productive aspects of The System).
Yellow Brick Road (The). Contrary to masonic opinion, the yellow brick rode doesn’t lead to the smelly old hierophant in the big oak chair. Instead, it leads directly back to knowledge of self and awareness of Divinity, i.e., the original state of joy and bliss of self.

This archetype represented by this card is related to the Empress, only in this case we are focussed on manipulating ideas associated with the male form. Here, the idea is implanted that the male is an aggressive, warlike, aloof, turdhead with no connection to those around him and no concern for the well being of anything outside his own individual skin. He is cold. He is hard. He is “the king.” There is no sign of life around this fellow at all, nor ever will there be should he choose not to transform. He is the quintessential authority figure, the epitome of the cosmological penis head. I suppose we could call this the penis head archetype, not only because of the ideational and behavioral content of the archetype, but because of how victims of this archetype like to hold, display, or wear symbolic representations of their commitment to the penis head. Consider the long, slender, phallus in the hands of the emperor.
Astrology buffs will notice the association of this card with Mars. The reasons for this are explained in The Book of the Triumph of Spirit.
In contrast to the archetype in the “old book” we have the Halo/Sharp archetype. The Halo/Sharp archetype begins the job of transforming/greening the male energies. The truth is, Mars/the male form is capable of supporting life regardless of any “natural” gender. Because of the disjuncture in the body that this greening can cause, we progress slowly.
It is important to note here that the transformation is inevitable. As the next few decades of transformation proceed, we will see the literal greening of the red planet. In fact, we will eventually discover (as Ali, a young muslim boy genous, told my wife), there use to be a vibrant civilization on mars before the Anu colonizers so thoroughly raped and ruined it that it became impossible for it to sustain any life at all). Of course, it will rebuild though. In fact, because of the availability of new energies, it is now in the process of terraforming itself. As this occurs, NASA may be surprised, but you won’t be.
The greening that results from the transformation of the male archetype will be reflected in a gradual, at first, but subsequently revolutionary transformation of the male role on this planet. The silliness of the old Mars, in all his violent stone and metal isolation and gory glory will be gone forever, replaced with the gentle, loving, and nurturing hand of the true father (and good riddance I might add).
Personally, I would consider The Emperor archetype, and it’s association of hierarchy, authority, and aggression with the male form, as one of the lynchpins of the old world authoritarian and hierarchically structured System. Strip away the foundation for authority, hierarchy, and violence and the system collapses like a house of cards.

In the old world tarot system, The Magician symbolizes mastery. The archetype here is generally developed as an extension to The Fool archetype. For the ram and the lamb, this is is The Fool submitting to the task at hand which is, depending on who is sitting in the chair in front of you, personal, moral, or magical mastery. Should the fool prove to be amenable to instruction, should the chela prove “adept,” they will pass through the “orders” and “the levels” and “the circles” (or however the hierarchy is conceived) and eventually attain mastery. The end result of the initiation and esoteric development process is power (or grace, or self awareness, or moral rectitude, or worthiness to “enter into heaven,” or whatever). Of course there is always an element of trial and worthiness here. You are not a master yet, but may become one should you learn the proper use of the “elements” before you. The main point of the old world archetype is clear. You’ve got potential kid, but you’re not there yet.
Many commentators rightly pick up an undercurrent of submission to authority in this card. Commentators often point to the position of the arms which, they say, indicate the magician is learning to manifest “divine will.” They key here is recognizing the archetype of authority and and submission. It’s your job to manifest somebody else’s will, right? Part of the task of “mastery” is to figure out the best way to manifest “somebody else’s” will. Consider the old world magician archetype in the context of The System. The system cannot function without the top down flow of authority and this archetype helps create the structures that allow for that by positioning.
In the Halo/Sharp archetype, the idea of mastery is preserved and highlighted. The difference however is that in this case, the message is not that you must become a master in order to serve another, the message is you are are already a master. You have followed the golden road into incarnation, have taken a body, and now you bring your considerable intelligence, power, wisdom, and experience to bear upon the manifestation tasks you choose to undertake. The Halo/Sharp archetype, the new world archetype, acknowledges your eternal soul and the experience, wisdom, and power you have must have gained from countless prior lifetimes where you exercise the will of spirit which is to create, exalt, and enjoy creation. This archetype puts you in the driver’s seat.
Of course, given the imposition of the system and the prevalence of the old energy archetypes in your consciousness, at this point you may not feel like the master that you are. But that will come. The first step in creating the conditions for tapping into the ageless power and wisdom that lies within you, but just beneath the thin surface of this 3D reality, is recognizing that it is there. Therefore, accept that you are a master and begin the process of bringing this glorious being forward.

In this category of pages I will outline and describe the “lock and key” system of the tarot, the old archetype being the locks which keep you away from your power, and the new archetypes the “keys” which you can use to rocket your consciousness forward into the light and begin the process of transforming and uplifting this world.
As I describe each of the archetypes in the book of tarot, I will begin by providing a few comments on the core meaning of the old world archetype (the lock) and then discuss how the new world archetype differs from/replaces the old archetype. The practical goal here is to identify the whisps and tendrils of old world archetypes in your consciousness and thinking about the world, and replace those stinky versions with the new purified and one hundred percent gauranteed accurate, safe, powerful, and uplifting archetypes provided in the Halo/Sharp tarot deck. Be mindful of your own thought process. Pay attention to what you are thinking and try to identify thought patterns that are anchored in old world archetypes as they come up. Whenever you start thinking in terms of the old “fool” archetype (i.e., life’s a school or testing ground), scrub that out of your mind and think about the revised archetype Joyful. I recommend you study a card per day, or per week, or however long it takes for you to get the old ideas out, and the new ideas in. The goal here is to scrub all traces of old world thinking out of your consciousness. Depending on past indoctrination, any fears associated with the old archetypes, and any resulting resistances, this can take anywhere from a few days to a few months.
Be patient with yourself. This is a process that will only get easier with time.
As you engage in the practical work, I recommend you have a copy of the Book of the Triumph of Spirit by your side as you study these archetypes as it provides the “energetic reference” for the materials provided here.

One of the principle archetypal messages of the old style western tarot can be found in the tarot card The Fool. Typically, the card shows an individual soul, a “fool” about to step of into incarnation. The fool is stepping away from source (i.e., the sun) and off the cliff into a physical body below. In this card, the fool has a mission which is (depending upon your location in the hierarchies of this world), variously, to “learn,” to grow, to evolve, to strengthen, to soften, to attain salvation, to develop, to purify, to become good, to clear karma, to prove yourself worthy, etc. You start off as the royal idiot, the untamed wildman, the insensate fool and only later, if you are lucky, if you pass “Judgment” are you able to attain “salvation.”
Superficially, these all seem like different goals but in reality they are all the same. The goal of incarnation, the single purpose for your existence, is for you to work to improve yourself in some way.
This is your purpose.
Ask yourself what is the purpose of your life on this earth and you are invariably drawn to the archetype of purpose as represented in the western tarot by the fool card.
Of course, this “purpose archetype” doesn’t stand alone. In fact, of all the other archetypes in the old book, this card is arguably the most interdependent. You can’t just order somebody to work. We’re just not wired that way and so the fool must work with The Magician, The Tower, Temperance, Wheel, and even Judgment in order to make an argument convincing enough to get us to willingly put on the chains (The Devil).

Contrary to the purpose as explicated in the old world fool archetype, we have the new Joyful archetype of the Halo/Sharp Triumph deck. In this card we still see an individual soul or monad stepping into incarnation, but this time we see the soul fully empowered (chakras activated), awakened, and connected to source. In the Halo/Sharp card, the soul follows the golden road into incarnation, joyfully anticipating the experiences that it will manifest, blissful in the awareness of its divinity, and ecstatic at the positive and exciting experiences that await it. Here there is neither justification of suffering nor expectation of woe. On the contrary, when the old world passes away and the old archetypes no longer hold sway, only good things await the incarnating monad.
The message in the new archetype is clear. Your only purpose as an incarnating monad is to experience joy.
Michael…
This is my favorite by blatant contrast from old to new thought…..For its message, and its magnificent beauty….The voice of this card is vibrant and has a long lasting echo after walking away from it…I Love it !…I wanna poster…and a Tee Shirt !

Although the primary purpose of the Halo/Sharp deck is as an archetypal replacement system, the deck is also intended to function as a “spiritual communication” training system. It’s designed to help you open up your crown chakra and connect with The Fabric of Consciousness, but in a controlled way. Rather than opening you up to any entity or energy that happens to be floating around (something that is quite dangerous for the newbie), a Halo/Sharp card guides you and keeps you connected to a single, positive consciousness. In this way you can practice mental control and other key spiritual skills you need in order to safely and effectively expand your channel/connection to the spirit world.
Direct connection with the spiritual world is an intermediate skill on the Lightning Path. It is something you should only practice after you have worked through the Lighting Path Core books, and after you have worked sufficiently long with the Halo/Sharp archetypes. More information on “channeling” (i.e., opening up your crown chakra for direct communication, is available in the intermediate Lightning Path book, the Book of Magic volume one.

So what is tarot all about? Well, most obviously, the tarot is a deck of 78 picture cards, originating in the western world. The cards are divided in various ways. There are twenty two “major arcana” and twenty two “minor arcana.” In the traditional western system, the major arcana have names like “the fool” and “judgment. The minor arcana have vaguely sexual names like “balls” and “cups” and “swords.” In the traditional tarot system, there are also court cards (what I’d call hierarchy cards). Kings, queens, pages, emperors and empresses figure prominently in the traditional western system.
If you ask people what this tarot system is about, most of them would tell you the tarot is some kind a picture card system that you can use to tell fortunes. Of course, these people will be more or less sympathetic about the idea. Some people will stand behind it as a useful tool for “divination,” and others will tell you it’s used by gypsies and old ladies, fruitloops and real kooks, for the purpose of fantasy and/or thievery. If you ask me, if you need that sort of thing, tarot is about as good a divination system as any other. People have used everything from pig entrails to tea leaves as part of their “show” and they are all equally valid methods (though not equally tasteful) that veiled individuals may use to communicate with the Spirit world.
Not everybody of course believes the tarot is a simple divination system. A few others commentators over the years have recognized the western tarot as some kind of spiritual education system. These people, and there’s a lot of them, are more or less vague about the full nature of the education you get with the tarot. Generally however, the message you get from them is that the tarot is some kind of “secret” book of symbols, with some “secret” meanings that you can, if you study real hard, get access to (if you’re worthy). Of course, there’s lots of different versions and lots of different strange and twisted ideas about the nature of the “education system” contained in the tarot, and the types of things you are supposed to learn from it. The details don’t matter though. All old world understanding of tarot are cut from the same unholy cloth anyway.
As for me, I agree to a certain extent. The tarot is an “education” system. It is something you can use to “learn something,” but it’s also much more than that; and much more important than that. For me (and a handful of others on this planet, none of whom right about the tarot), the tarot is an archetypal system, one possible implementation of The Book, i.e., the collection of planetary archetypes (a.k.a. creation templates) used to control manifestation of the political, social, and psychological systems of this earth. It’s pretty straight forward how it happens. People read the tarot, learn the archetypes, and then use these archetypes to think about, manifest, create, and recreate the world. Think of Grim’s stories, many Hollywood movies, and many of this world’s most holy texts as partial (or complete) implementations of this planet’s creation template. According to my principle “as above in consciousness, so below in matter,” once the archetypes are implemented in consciousness, reality unfolds. This occurs at both the individual and collective level.
If you’ve studied my Lightning Path Core books you will understand me when I say, the tarot archetypes as they currently exist are not geared towards manifesting a world of freedom, prosperity, and light. Quite the opposite in fact. Current implementations of The Book, including current tarot systems (what I would call “old world” tarot systems based on the “old book), all contain of archetypes designed to create a world of energetic slavery and creative impotence in the masses, while privileging a few with obscene levels of power and wealth. As explain in more detail in The Book of the Triumph of Spirit, they do this by “painting a picture” in consciousness of the nature of reality that includes justifications for suffering, hierarchy, privilege, and power. You can see this quite clearly when you analyze the archetypes of the old world tarot system.
Tarot decks based on the old book are easy to identify. They all have have that “fool” card, and they all make a big deal of trial and effort, judgment, “death” and redemption. If you’re looking at a deck and it includes those concepts. that’s an old world tarot based on an old set of archetypes used, by the Anu, to create the system.
You’ll find, however, that the Halo/Sharp deck is different. The purpose of my deck is somewhat the same as the old deck. The purpose is to provide a set of core archetypes which, when implemented in consciousness, will then manifest the 3D world (and remember, your body and mind are a part of the 3D world). However, the difference is my deck is, I dare say, is the first (the original) “new world” tarot deck. As such, the Halo/Sharp deck is a complete archetypal rewrite that provides a new set of planetary archetypes that support total awakening and empowerment of the planet. In this sense, it is more than a mere implementation of The Book. In fact, the Halo/Sharp tarot is an attempt to rewrite The Book.
Using the deck is easy. Just learn the new archetypes and allow them to replace the old archetypes in your consciousness. Seed the archetypes in consciousness! Live with those new archetypes for a while, talk about them, present them as your truth, believe them, and have faith in them.. As your intent clears, and as you remove archetypal obstacles to your own power and glory, and as the seeds begin to grow and eventually blossom, your world (and this world)) will begin to transform. It will be easier to. Not totally without effort or struggle, but a lot less difficult than you have probably been led to believe.

Hi Michael whats up?
I would like to see the material about the new archetypal structure you propose when it’s ready.
Don’t know if you’ve seen Arnold Keyserling’s “Chance & Choice”. There he shows another archetypal structure for the tarot aswell, and a “wisdom self guidance method” involving 52 normal playing deck (the one with spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs) and based on the work he presents in his book.
I want to be into divination or whatever they may call it, but linking it with “physic stuff”. I mean removing all the “guru, medium, mystical or cloudly” label that we usually put to this things. So im interested in getting to know the structure you propose.
I don’t use to comment about how i see the things i don’t actually see yet (concerning “cosmic events”) but i’d like to say that i actually think that wisdom (if there is such thing) is the only concept/thing capable of leading all of us, so maybe it’s time for a lot of us to start searching and trying to know what it is and what’s for. Im not quite sure about waking people around, and not sure of quite anything much. The only thing that resonates with my strange person is the search of wisdom “within the dream”.
Well, i just felt like doing a little chit chat with you. I have found 3 sources and “mentors” that i consider important in my life and i’m thankfull about that. So thanks for being there and sharing your work.
PD: im working in the spanish translation of the great awaking, and soon i will send you a list of words i’d like you to explain so i can make a good translation providing the right meaning, so the essence of your work is well preserved and presented.

So, you wanna know more about me? I am honored!

As you already know, my name is Michael Sharp. I am a sociologist, mystic, and world teacher. I write books on spiritual topics ranging from ascension (The Book of Life), through chakra and kundalini activation (The Dossier of the Ascension), to the nature of God (The Book of Light), and even the Tarot as a tool of spiritual advancement. I also talk, in great detail, about what’s happening in the supposed “run up” to the big 2012 “shift” that everyone’s becoming fixated on (tsk, tsk, can you say Y2K?), what spiritual “enlightenment” is really all about, and how to attain full spiritual awakening and empowerment
My purpose in life, my goal, my mission, my promise is nothing less than your total spiritual awakening and empowerment, and this is not in some distant future after you’ve “struggled,” “paid your dues,” or clawed your way out of darkness, but right here and in the right now. No compromises, no complicated language, no beating around the bush, no bullshit, and no problem. I’m not a very patient man and I’m never satisfied with half measures. The lightning flash of divine inspiration is what I’m aiming for with my work.
Now, while I may not be able to take all the struggle out of your awakening and empowerment, I can take a substantial part of it away and I can certainly speed things up for you. But you can decide for yourself. Browse around my website, read some articles and poems, and check out the growing list of free eBooks I offer. Who knows, you may be standing at the door of a very great adventure.
Awaken, empower, ascend!
In service,
Michael Sharp
Hi Michael,
I’m finding your website/free e books very interesting.
The basic premise resonates with my own experiences.
I like the idea of training/encouraging therapists to work in a different paradigm - while it’s needed anyway. I think things are shifting fast socially. My musing would be how does one create enough safe “places” for people to touch base to get grounded and be supported while making the shift without the potential for egoic gurus/therapists/healers to hijack the process…?
You are right. There’s hardly any “safe places” and right now it is very easy for the process to be “hijacked.” But that’s because there isn’t a good professional foundation for spiritually sophisticated practice. How do you know what counts as insight and truth, and what’s just a bunch of hot air. A degree from Harvard and a list of publications a mile long won’t guarantee you sophisticated spiritual knowledge.
What I want to do is provide that foundation by providing an entirely integrated set of concepts, ideas, definitions, and terms. Once this is developed, then we can “certify” people as professionally qualified. Not only would this bring some professional practice to what amounts right now to a spiritual free for all, it would give people confidence and help them discern who was worth talking to, and really help speed the process along.
Once this is done, then we’d have to the tools which we could give people (both at a professional level and a lay person level) so that they wouldn’t be in any danger from egoic guris/therapists/healers and the like. They’d have their own defenses.

Greetings! My name is Michael Sharp and this is the home of the revolutionary Halo/Sharp Triumph of Spirit tarot deck. The deck came into existence as the collaborative effort between myself, the writer, and Oxo Halo, the artist. The deck currently consists of twenty two tarot keys (a.ka. major arcana) which form the symbolic center of an entirely new archetypal system of thought, encoded in the textual representations and visual images of our watershed tarot deck.
The tarot deck and associated book, The Book of the Triumph of Spirit, are part of the Lightning PathTM Core curriculum, introductory level. The deck provides new non-hierarchical, empowering, and life affirming archetypes that you will use to replace old world archetypes. Replacing the archetypes in your head is an essential step in navigating “the shift” that more and more people are beginning to wonder about.
For information on the Lightning PathTM, visit my main website. To begin your study of the tarot, start from the right menu item “Key to tarot symbolism” and work your way down. Please note that new materials are still being added to this site. Keep informed by subscribing to the RSS feed. Also note that familiarity with The Lightning Path Core is a prerequisite for understanding the materials on this site.
Currently, and for the foreseeable future, copies of this powerful and revolutionary spiritual tool set may be purchased only from Lightning PathTM Press. See the purchase link in the side menu for more details. For a complete set of Lightning Path Core books, visit this link.

whatever this is, not a pleasant experience. looking at card can be forgiven for being a little frightened. black sky, lightning bolt, power, people falling, tower exploding. good grief. what heck going on.
This is kinda a scary card and in this card really see the nature of The System. here we are watching all sorts of bad things happen to each other, poverty, slavery, disease, financial ruin, etc, and here is this archetype saying that it’s all part of some kind of plan. ya it’s bad, ya it’s a brutal fall from the tower, but it’s good for you. it helps you grow. it’s like a test.burns away negative, clears outdated, in some kind of divine or evolutionary act of purification.
yuck.
look at this way, core of the archetyp here really isn’t peopel falling. ancillary. real archetype is explanation for bad things. call it the “silver lining archetype.?
in halo/sharp card, replace that ugly and disturbing archetype with a new one. still see falling people, but it’s different this time. These people are the unactivated and unawakened sleepyheads of the world being caught up in the swirling energy and power of an awakened one. as you can see, not a pleasant experience and would lying if said otherwise.
archetyp here is dramatically different. underlying message is of your power. potentially very powerful and when fully activated, boom.
should also note in this halo/deck no discussin of testing or moralikty or worthiness or judgment. that’s because there’s no need. once fully awakened and empowered, generally no moral equivoctation about things. you generally always no exactly what you need to do. i.e., heal body, help society, heal world. no doubt about that at all.

first things that strikes us about this card symbolic overload. dogs wolves crabs suns moon faces looking down little yellow yods, gates, pools, paths and mountains. veritable cornucuopia of reference and you know what that means. means archetype totall covered over. little, if any, original meaning left here. just all kind of obscured with the EPMO and SO often found when individual can’t get to the bottom of something. get a lot of “blah blah blah” with this card. not surprising a lot of commentators use the word “confusion” when describing this card. we know it has something to do with awakening (gates and sun), but what we’re not sure.
in new book we can bring out this archetype. really just refers to the initiatory / awakening energies provided by moon. most easily expresed by notion of “pull.” Moon literally provides a pull to awaken that can feel most strongly when moon is full. very powerful energy and wise to embrace this energy. also be useful organizing events around this with a focus on awakening. very powerful way of working with individuals to awaken them to divinity.
because this card initiation/awakening card, related to Initiation card an strength card and, more importantly, is idea of trust. to any general sense of trust you are able to development. since this card represents assistance from outside, and since those requiring assistance often quite lost beneath the veil, also have experience of punisment, lots of reasons not to trust, trust highlighted. won’t accept the initiatory energies here if don’t trust. important, especially from psychological perspective. develop this more fully in article on psychology and counselling.
as final comment, only mystery here is for those who are still sleepy and unawakened. awakened mind embraces and rejoices in awesome idea here, even throws energy, as you as individual see fit, fully into it to help out.

In OWS, this is reward card. this fits with hierophant and other cards that build justification for hierarchy, reward, punishment, and authority. this card basically carries the idea that if you’re good enough, got talent, got “what it takes,” are worthy, pass the tests, learn the robes, do what you’re told, follow authority, you’ll ventually get to heaven, be rewarded with power, money, understanding, status or some combination. once again, like hierophant, idea is dressed up in laurel wreathes and wants and robes and all sorts of accroutement. but if ask me, basic idea stin
