The Hierophant becomes Uranus
In terms of system maintenance, this is a very important archetype. In fact, in the Anu installed Creation Template that governs this world, this is one of the key phrases that provides the “as above” ideas that govern manifestation of the “so below” of The System. So, pay close attention here.
In the old world system this archetype represents, quite simply, the idea of authority over others. In this case, the authority has a name which is the hierophant (defined by Miriam Webster dictionary as “the one who shows“). The archetype is simple. Authority over others, and the key corollary submission before authority, is OK. It’s what “god” wants. It’s part of “his” plan. it’s “how things are done.” It’s necessary to the process of evolution. It’s the way the great work “works,” and blah, blah blah, whatever, blah, blah blah.
Of course, you can see why this archetype is so important to system maintenance.
Take a look at the world around you.
It is a world filled to the brim with “authority” and submission. Like a disease that spreads over this planet, it is everywhere and it is the linchpin upon which The System is built. However, it doesn’t stand alone. Despite what the Social Darwinists and Masonic hierophants might want to tell you, children aren’t born wired to follow authority. In fact, children are born wired to follow their hearts and it takes a lot of beating, cajoling, manipulation, and constant K-12 reinforcement of the whole idea of authority to get them to submit. As the one who knows better than anyone else on this planet, creating slaves out of Gods is a complicated and difficult task requiring many complex and interrelated archetypes in order to accomplish. We will explore these compexities and interrelations in some detail here.
In any case, the Halo/Sharp version is different. Since there is no place for authority and submission within a divine world order, the Halo/Sharp version presents an image of freedom from slavery. Here we see the human physical units freeing themselves from the ideas and energies of The System. Rejoice and be glad for the end (of The System) is near.
Now, it is important to note that there is nothing wrong with having a good teacher. Teachers are necessary in a number of areas. If you want to learn classical piano for example, and if you don’t want to go through lifetimes of rediscovering what is already known about music and technique, a good piano teacher is essential. Similarly, we shouldn’t confuse authority with creative organizations designed to bring people into one place in order to accomplish difficult creative tasks. It’s OK to defer to expertise. But no way, no how does this ever require submission to anybody, be they guru, manager, lodge master, grand high pooh bah, or army sergeant. The whole idea that authority over others is OK simply has to go.
If we had to replace this archetype, we’d ideally do it with one named “MENTOR.” A mentor is not an authority figure. A mentor does not judge. A mentor does not punish. A mentor simply shows you the way to accomplish what you (i.e., your higher self) wants to accomplish.
COOL.
BUT
YOU ‘BARBIE’ IMAGE NEEDS TO BOTTICELLI- UP ; )
